I met my sweet wife, Teresa, in college while receiving a degree in Communications. We married in 2011 on a little farm with all of our family and friends cheering us on. I worked in the corporate world for many years until I picked up a camera and everything changed. I discovered a newfound passion for serving others while capturing life's mundane and monumental moments through the lens of a camera. The rest is history!
We now have three kids, Ellis, June and Ruthie who make our hearts proud. I am passionate about my family, my faith in Jesus and photography. I could probably bore you to death with photos and details of all of the amazingly cute things my kids do (but I won't)!
When I’m not taking photos, I’m usually enjoying some good music, brewing up a perfect cup of coffee, or taking care of my growing collection of houseplants.

Teresa and I were married on a little farm in Florida in February of 2011. Teresa’s favorite photo of our wedding day was of me ugly crying as she walked down the aisle...I’m not a pretty crier. I am a family man to my core. If given a choice, I will almost always choose a quiet night at home drinking coffee with my wife and playing games with my kids over anything else. I LOVE pour over coffee! Every morning around 5:30am, without fail, I am in my kitchen making pour over coffee for myself and Teresa. My favorite coffee beans are from a local place here in Wake Forest, NC called Black and White Coffee. My business is named after me, but none of it would be possible without my wife, mother and homeschool teacher to our kids, business partner, and all around Type-A boss lady, Teresa! She has stood by my side for over 13 years of marriage cheering me on towards loving others more deeply and I am so honored that I get to do life with her by my side.

I can't say enough good things to express how grateful we were to have JP as our wedding photographer. He captured our dream photos all while making us feel so special throughout the entire day. He made us feel comfortable even though we are incredibly awkward and captured breathtaking photos that bring us right back to the moment he captured them. Truly the best photographer!
